How to install WordPress in my Laptop

  • Hi All,

    I am new to wordpress. I want to install wordpress in my laptop to learn more.

    I tried installing using youtube videos but after creating the DB table and updating db name user name in word press page. I got error after submitting the details.

    So planned to install newly with help of this forum.

    Please advise on this. My Os is windows 10 8gb ram.

    Install Local from https://localwp.com/?download (It’s free.) Once installed, you’ll have WordPress running on your laptop in a couple of clicks.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I downloaded and installed local on my laptop when i click “view site” it took me to MS IIS page, when i click on Admin it took to erro page.
