I have a VPS account with a web hosting provider that runs on centOS 4.3 I believe. I know I have root access to a shell prompt, and access to yum, that much I know

but what I do not understand, how do I install subversion using yum?

Just to upgrade my blog. do I do

    “yum install subversion”
    or
    “yum install subversion mod_dav_svn”

I don’t understand. I found this article after doing a google search on the subject, but isn’t that for the server? I just want the client, right? how do I do that?

I’m not entirely sure, but I believe they have me on the Apache 1.3 trunk in centOS 4.3 if I remember right. I know I recently had them upgrade me to PHP 5, because of some wordpress plugin issues I was having that required PHP 5, but thats all I know, hehe.

    thanks
