how to install Subscribe Me icon

  • hi, I need some help here.

    I’m trying to install the Subscribe Me icons in my blog.

    I’ve downloaded the plugin from this URL and activated it. https://www.semiologic.com/software/widgets/subscribe-me/

    According to the instructions, I need to insert the following code on my template.

    <?php the_subscribe_links(); ?>

    Question – which template and exactly where should I insert the code ? I have tried the index and header templates but nothing shows up.

    Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

  • I am taking a guess here but you probably have to find the templates folder, and then browsing side of the template that your blog is currently using, find a template file, open it up and look for other bits of code that looks similar to the one they are asking you to add. Place the code snippet around there and see how it works. Check out your documentation again; to see if it has any more detailed instructions.
