How to install custom header

    Hey guys,

    I am not sure if this is a WordPress issue, but when I try to upload my custom made header I receive this error message: Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 153092096) (tried to allocate 47244 bytes) in /hermes/web09/b2379/moo.baldnomadcom/toonbarmy.com/wp-includes/media.php on line 254

    When I uploaded it to the header part from my theme and got this message, the image has seemed to upload but you only see the a tiny snippet of the image. It is taking more than 64GB of memory so I was wondering if there was any alternatives to make this fit?

  • Hi, it may not be the whole problem, but your background image is huge without need. (3,308.48 kB (3,387,886 bytes))
    I would open, resive resolution etc and resave it using some image editor (eg IRFANVIEW, free) and upload the new one. Check any instructions on changing the background/header image with your particular theme.

    Thanks Seelife, I’ll get on to it and see if I have any joy. I’ll just have a boring header for now ??
