How to install a theme

  • Hello All,

    I am new to this. I bought a domain, created an account on wordpress, bought a theme from theme forest.

    How do I install this theme?

    I read that I need to go to appearances and instal that file, but when I go to wordpress.com, I don’t see that option. I don’t see any admin option.

    Do I need to first host my domain on hostgator etc? inorder to see that option?

    I signed up for the free account, does that have anything to do with it?

    Can you please send me the steps?
