How to instal HTML CODE on WP INDEX dir/files

  • I am trying to display a badge on my page and it is in the form of an HTML code. I don’t know how to do this.

    I was told to insert the code inside the tags of my webpage/ or the index directory but I have no idea what these are.

    Also a second issue I have… I need advice on a program to use to re-size photos to make them smaller under 2mb so I can upload them without any problem. any suggestions?
