how to insert widgets on index page?

  • Guys-
    Any idea, my site is https://www.ccieadvisor.com and I am relly trying to make it so that I can insert a widget, a simple text widget on the index page. Is there a way to insert a widget. I do not wnat it to look like a post or anything, like comments or etc. I just want the paragrahs there.
