  • Hello, rght,… same question here, I don’t have gutenberg too, how can you inser the stream video?

Also, how is the procedure to active signed URLs from the plugin?

Thanks a lot for this plugin!!!

    Plugin Author Cloudflare

    (@cloudflare)

@aberloto This plugin relies extensively on some of the features only available in Gutenberg. If you are signed up with Cloudflare Stream, you should be able to use the embed code provided on the Stream dashboard by copy/pasting it into your post.

I know you can do the normal way ?? it’s more about the handyness of having to click 1 time and have the stream library in wp. Also, I thought this plugin would have solved the hard signed URl thing as it’s written in the description… but it’s not.

Generating signed URLs in bash following your guide is explained and I managed to do that. I got my token link and then inserted that into the player and worked. The real problem is HOW TO MODIFY all video urls with tokens serving those to the player each time the page load so to have PRIVATE links every time and protect your videos!!

If someone wants to really have an URL that expires after the view of that very video, how can he really make it working using the CF player without coding expirience?
A plugin is needed of course… and I thought this plugin could do that…

Otherwise, the video you embed in your website will ALWAYS BE PUBLIC and ACCESSIBLE in CF in one way or another and that’s something many users can’t afford.
E.g. any website with membership or shop functionalities that sells videos or are accessible only for members (e.g. tutorial videos)

Of course I can hire a developer to create the script for me but if CF would release something like that, hundred of thousands of your clients would benefit of it in the future… so it’s more efficient :).

Any plugin, UI in CF, script, option, would be ok to at least LET YOUR CLIENTS DECIDE if the video should be private or not.
