    Greetings,

Recently we have completed a project that uses the Business Directory Plugin as well as a few of its modules. Most importantly to this message, the Google Maps Module.

The project was so successful, thanks to your plugin, that the client would like to use the home page map from the link provided and have it fully interactive in their own separate site. That mean the map pins link to the original site directory (in the link provided) as well as all the same data points that are included in the original directory and that would update with the original.

Currently the map is being displayed with a shortcode that is entered into WordPress, and is retrieving the directory data from the site database as it normally would in an apache wordpress stack.

I realize it would require custom work, but I am hoping to get some advice on how to go about it and if you believe it is even possible.

    Main point:

Client loves map on this website and want’s to have the same map with the same data on their new site. Ideally where the map would be updated along with the original.

    Thanks!

    Hi @mgtri,

Something like that would require customization. Off hand, we don’t have a way to do that, because you’re basically pulling data from Site A and trying to display it on Sites B, C and D…so that requires some kind of data sharing you’d have to implement.

The directory isn’t built to do this right now and it would be something you’d have to work out on your own.
