    When editing a page/post in Visual mode clicking on the last (usually) icon (“Add NextGEN Gallery”)on the tool bar enters a dialogue to add a gallery.

    Alternatively, you can just type the shortcode into a page.
    Some examples would be [album id=nnn] or [album id=nnn template=extend] or [nggallery id=nnn] or [nggallery id=nnn template=caption].
