It used to work by dragging, I believe, but I cannot seem to figure out how to put the columns field to use again.

I’d like to use the columns to separate some of the fields equally across, in one row, together. Instead of each field displaying in their own row, by row. I would like to place 3 or 2 fields, side by side.

I used to be able to do this with the columns, but it was weird or tricky to figure out. What am I missing?

    Hello @stumblexd,

?Thank you for reaching out to support! There are two ways to do this, but you can either use the columns function in the editor to create columns then drag fields in. Taking the filed options and setting the desired columns.

Alternatively, you can also use the built-in CSS classes on fields directly in the Advanced Options of the field. Just hover over the field you wish to put in a two or three-column structure, and add the classes under the CSS Class Name field. Available classes are wpuf-col-half, wpuf-col-half-last, wpuf-col-one-third, wpuf-col-one-third-last; To use this, you just have to make sure the last column in the row uses the class with the -last suffix.

Option one is the easiest one to accomplish.

    Thanks

Hi Elana, thank you for the reply!

When I try option 1, the fields only jump above or below the column, and they refuse to hop into a column. I am using Google Chrome; I don’t know if something is off or conflicting with the plugin. But the drag and drop interface does not seem to be working for me.

I do not have the pro version of weforms, and therefore, I do not have access to try out the Advanced Options section.

I have the same problem. I can not drag anything into a column field. Elements only can be placed above or below the collum box. I am using Google Chrome.

    Hello @konnykarlson,

I apologize for the inconvenience. We do have a bug reported about this and are currently getting that resolved. This should be out in a future release.
