How to insert a gallery into 2.8.5?

  • I know that before 2.8.5 or at least in 2.5 when you were inserting an image into a post, there was also a tab you could click on for galleries and easily insert galleries. Where is this option now?

    I downloaded the plug-in that allows you to turn your regular galleries into flash galleries but this does me no good if I can’t figure out how to add galleries to start with.

    mijk, I don’t quite understand your instructions… I’m new to WP, so that may be the problem.

    Are you talking about making a new post then entering a page title? I’m trying to add a gallery into my posts. I also don’t see “Save Concept”. Could you elaborate for a noob?

    Greenshady, Does [gallery] combine all the img codes in the post to form a gallery? Or do I need to do more?

    edit – I figured out what to do… only prob is how do I use the [flashgallery]? It won’t show a preview for me to add pics to…
