I am new to WordPress and I want to learn how to input maps into my blog. I am unsure where I am suppose to input the codes. Is there a way to link to a specific location on the map? Lastly, can I use a map that I already have from my Google account? If there some tutorial that I can follow, please let me know. Thanks for your help in advance!

    Hi,

The map can be controlled from the same post or page where will be displayed. Please, follow the steps below:

    1. Go to the page or post, and move to the section titled: “Associate an address to the post…”

    2. Type an address in the “Address” field, and press the “Verify” button to get the latitude and longitude corresponding to the address.

    3. Press the “Insert the map tag” button, to insert the shortcode in the page’s content.

    4. Press the “Update” button of the post or page, and voila the map is available in your page.

If you need some particular settings for this map check the option “Use particular settings for this map:”, and enter the corresponding settings.

For entering the settings that will be applied to all maps by default, go to the settings page of plugin, in the menu option: “Settings/CodePeople Post Map”

    Best regards.

I am very frustrated. Just bought your premium and can’t get it to work. Have tried a number of settings, advice from different forum and your DW Booster.
Am using page builder and a premium theme. I don’t want to have to mess with a bunch of code to get this to work I bought premium so it would be drop and dash.

p.s. did the above and it didn’t work. Code shows up in visual editor but nothing on page. This is a test site for a client for tomorrow and I’ve already put in hours…

    Hi,

Please, try clearing the browser’s cache, and then test again the map, but if the issue persist, don’t hesitate in contact me again, but this time with the URL to the webpage, and the access to the WordPress to check if exists a conflict with any other plugin installed in your WordPress.
