How to increase media upload size

  • I’m trying to upload large audio files to the Twenty Twelve theme but my upload max is only 7MB. I need it to be more like 50MB to 80MB. I contacted the host and they sent me this link about a php.ini file…(https://wiki.dreamhost.com/Php.ini).

    I tried my best to follow along but I’m obviously not doing it right because it’s not working. Could someone please translate these instructions into something a novice can understand, or offer another solution?
