How to increase LCP score Further in Google Page Speed Insights

LCP depends on what element GPSI identifies as the one LCP is measured on. 2 known reasons why that might be high:

1. it’s a lazyloaded image -> exclude it from being lazyloaded (AO’s lazyload does have an exclusion field)
2. it’s a background image (which loads with lower priority) -> add it as a not-displayed <img in the HTML

Beside AO and WP-Rocket what is the best Lazy loaded plugins where we can exclude from backend easily and work in our site and compatible with short pixel and AO+WP-Rocket combinations?

re. how to solve that; can’t give a step by step, but assuming GPSI says image abc123.jpeg is your LCP element and that that indees is a background image, then add <img src="abc124.jpg" style="display:none;"> to the HTML.

it’s probably compatible (although you might have to configure AO not to aggregate the A3 JS), but it will probably not solve your LCP worries ..
