Hi. I have an auto template that looks like this:

    A) show some content before (above) the post content.
    B) show the post content.
    C) show some content after (below) the post content.

A and C are not included in the SEO analysis. How to get them to be recognized as part of the post?

    In more detail:

There is a way in Yoast Premium to add custom fields to the SEO analysis. I’m not using their premium version by the way, maybe I will but the thing is A and C (above) are not fields. They are text and markup constructed dynamically from several fields + WP shortcodes and using php code inside the template. I want the entire block output as one piece to be recognized and included in the SEO analysis. Is it possible?

It’s the kind of question I’m not sure where to ask. Yoast integrations go along with custom fields, while template is a different kind ‘animal’.

    Hi @cncup

Auto-templates simply to not integrate with SEO analysis as they are only loaded on the actual front-end.
So long as the analysis isn’t run on the front-end this won’t be taken into account.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about that.

    Cheers, Jory
