How to Include Blog Pages Images in XML Sitemap

    Hello,

    I have a problem with my blog posts are not getting indexed by Google and also when I’m trying to inspect the image URLs with Google Search Console tool it’s saying the URL is blocked by Robots.txt file https://prntscr.com/lzo360. I have not blocked anything through robot.txt file. Also, these images URLs are not present in the website xml sitemap. Whereas the portfolio page images are in XML sitemap as well & are also in Google index.

    Please let me know how can I include those image urls in XML sitemap & make easier to Google bots to crawl & Index them.

    @jogeshkbizsoft regarding the images, check if the checkbox for Media is marked in the XML Sitemap module. I can find some, but not all of your blog pages in the SERPs. Our plugin is working correctly, so I’d recommend you to continue investigating the error in Google Search Console.

    If you check my website sitemap then all the images from the Portfolio page is included there but the images from the blog page are not there. I want to include them in sitemap as well.

    Also I’m trying to exclude a 404 error page from sitemap: https://www.altastreet.com/testi-1/

    I have inserted this page slug in the exclude item section but still, this page is not removed from there. See setting here: https://prntscr.com/m02xkh

    Also If I have to create the separate sitemap for the images with this plugin then how can I do this.

    Your blog images are present in your sitemap, you’re simply not aware of it. Attached images are added as child tags of their parent posts. If you locate any blog post in your sitemap, then you’ll see that the second column shows the amount of images that are attached to it. If you subsequently check out the source code, you’ll see something like this:

    <image:image>
    <image:loc>https://www.altastreet.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Customer- 
    Review.jpg</image:loc>
</image:image>

    Your second screenshot redirects to a 502 page.

    If you’d like to have separate sitemaps, then you need to enable sitemap indexing.
