How to include a shortcode in a UM form?

  • Hi, I’d like to add some stuff into the “About” tab.
    For that, I’m adding a field “Content block” and then I’m trying to add my shortcode into that block.
    It doesn’t work, the website just shows the shortcode as plain text.
    Is there a way to enable usage of shortcodes in the content block editor?

    Unfortunately, it’s not possible and would require some custom coding, if you need this customization I suggest hiring a developer for assistance.

    Cmon, Ultimate Member Support, you could have done better than that!
    Apparently I didn’t notice there’s a field type “shortcode” that already exists in the list of the different fields that can be added to a form.
    Adding that field lets me insert any shortcode in a form.
    UM plugin – fantastic!
    Support staff – needs some more training. Or vacation. ??
