How to implement dropdown menu in left sidebar

    Hi,

    i would like to create a menu with submenu points. All is based on post categories. All sub categories should be invisible inside the menu.
    Today all categories and subcategories are visible on the left sidebar.

    I created a “individual menu” inside the widgets and assigned my own created menu to this.

    Could you please give me a hint howto make the sub menu categories invisible but visible only when the visitor clicks on the top level categories?
