  • Hi valapalmadottir,

I’m not too sure that translation files for Drupal will help here but we’ve already included a .pot file in the plugin and that would be a good starting point here – you can find it at:

    the-events-calendar/lang/the-events-calendar.pot

Better yet, we already have an Icelandic translation:

    the-events-calendar/lang/tribe-events-calendar-is_IS.po
    the-events-calendar/lang/tribe-events-calendar-is_IS.mo

You are more than welcome to modify and improve upon that and we’d be delighted to hear of any changes and improvements you might make ??

    Hey Barry,
thanks a lot for your reply.. Yes I wasnt sure how this drupal thing was supposed to help in WordPress but someone on another forum pointed it out and I wondered to give it a try ??

I actually yes, had had already located the is.IS.po and .mo files, but am not sure how to make them take effect? ..

I’m also wondering if they really are already in effect but notsince half of the plugin is in Icelandic, the settings menu and everything , but the monthnames, days and dates in the calendar itself is still in english.. Any ideas ?

We use WordPress to display dates and it takes care of that particular set of translations, so you would need to ensure that WordPress is appropriately configured for this, too.
