Situation: alias.example.com is added in Multiple Domains plugin settings.

Case 1: Unable to show preformatted alias URL in my tutorial
    https://alias.example.com/wp-json/xyz/

    Returns

    https://example.com/wp-json/xyz/

which forces me at the moment to write code in this way to bypass the problem

    alias[dot]example[dot]com/ …

which I feel difficult for my visitors.

    I want it to display
    https://alias.example.com/wp-json/xyz/
    When site accessed over example.com

I want to skip rewriting in case of preformatted text.

Case 2: It works as expected
    If I keep just https://alias.example.com/wp-json/

    It returns https://alias.example.com/wp-json/

At the moment, I need solution for the first case mainly.

    Thanks
