How To “Ignore Directories”

    Hi there,

    first of all thanks for a great plugin!

    I might be too stupid, but I’m not able to ignore certain directories from the “File Change Detection Scan”. Should the input be absolute or relative, starting at the beginning (i.e. /var/www/virtual/…) or at wp-content, and with Slash or without? I’ve tried a lot of different variations but our cache directory is still getting scanned, resulting in a big ass mail every day ??

    Hi,

    You can exclude specific files/directories from the scan which would not normally pose any security threat if they were changed. These can include things such as log files.

    Example: If you want the scanner to ignore certain files in different directories or whole directories, then you would enter the following:

    cache/config/master.php

    or

    somedirectory
