How to Identify Mu Site

    Dear Team,
    I doubt my developer has delivered me my website as WPMU site. Reason for my doubt is the site url and home url is not my domain. it is the domain of my developer’s website. Ex. https://developersite.com/mysitename

    Ideally it should show my TLD. https://mydomain.com

    If my doubt is correct why he purchased hosting for the same? As per my knowledge only the main MU site requires the hosting. for rest of the sites, we will point domains only.

    is there any other way to find if this is a MU site and not stand alone?

    And if this is a MU site, how to convert it as standalone or single wp site.

    My website is a woocommerce store.

    The URL you mentioned can also be an installation of WordPress in a subdirectory. This does not have to be a multisite installation.

    To run the website under your domain, you need to clarify with your developer that they will set this up for you in their hosting.
