How to identify a page from its navigation label

Suppose I create a page called People, add it to a menu, and set the Navigation Label to Personnel. If someone else then comes along, how can they identify that the page is actually called People?

When you set Navigation Label, the name of the page changes in the menu structure. There doesn’t seem to be anything pointing back to the original page. Some menu items have a box at the bottom with a link labelled “Original” but that doesn’t seem to be the name of the page.
