how to hyperlink a button and put it in a widget

    I have made a 250×250 banner and have a ‘click here’ button on it to take to another page.

    If i save as a jpeg it makes the whole banner link and not just the button.

    How do you save it so the button ‘clicks in’ and only the button folows the link.
