How to hook into registration form submission?

Hi, I need to perform some custom php and maybe js actions when the registration form is submitted (use some external api and other things). I took a look to the UM Hooks page, and see there are several hooks that interact with submission in various ways.

What is the best hook to execute some php code ‘on submit’?

Or, is there any other/better way to do it?
