How to highlight a whole column on hover?

    Hi,
    i would like to highlight a whole column border with css, but only if the mouse is on the specific column.
    Is there a way to realise this only with the included css-file?

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    No, sorry, there’s no direct possibility for that, simply due to how HTML tables work (cells are children of rows and not columns, and therefore there simply is no CSS selector that can be used here ?? ). Your only chance for this would be to use a JavaScript-based solution.
