  • How to hide/limit number of product gallery thumbnails on single product page

    Most of my products have around 20 product gallery images. The thumbnails for them fill up the entire page so that user has to scroll way down to see the product description.

    My theme developer updated their theme for Woo and it was installed, so the theme is not the issue AFAIK.

    Only solution I can think of is an option to hide the thumbnails. Do you have a snippet for that?
    Or limit how many are visible on product page.
    Neither is ideal.

    Also, I would like to disable the zoom feature on the main gallery image, and make it a static image that links to the product gallery images. Just like it did so well before the update.

    I found a solution.

    This plugin lets you limit number of thumbnails and shows gallery images in a carousel. It is responsive too. The dev updated it for Woo 3.0, you have to be sure to select yes for Woo 3.0 fix in the plugin settings.

    The zoom and lightbox settings were found in my theme Woocommerce settings rather than in the WP woocommerce settings, which is why I did not find them initially.
