How to hide type/post frontend?

Hi. I’m using streaming theme, but i want to hide certain type, for example Movie, from frontend page, cuz i don’t want to see the type movie pages to showup there. I’ve tried plugin that hides the posts of those types, but my side had connection datebase problem with that plugin.
