How to hide the sub menu list by default when the parent menu given as link

I’m sorry, but we don’t have an option for this. We only have the “Opened” parameters you see here:

so currently based on the active item you could only have the menu opened in a way, that the active item’s subitems are opened too. But I will add it to our to do list and hopefully the senior developer will be able to create an option for this in the future!

Also an issue I see with your menu is this:

that it isn’t the arrows taking up a space for the opening/closing, but the padding value. If you will keep the link on the parent elements and you want to allow users to close the submenus, you should have a right padding.

I have given the right padding in all levels.
But it still loading the page. Could you please help to fix this issue.

you have customized codes overwriting our paddings:

div#nextend-accordion-menu-nextendaccordionmenuwidget-2 dl.level2 .inner,
div#nextend-accordion-menu-nextendaccordionmenuwidget-2 dl.level1 .inner {padding: 3px 0  !important;}

which should be removed to let our settings work. But I can’t see the right paddings being used from our settings either, so if this won’t help and you think you are sure, you are editing the correct menu, please rather contact us here:

because we would need to do some deeper debugging.

I removed the above 2 lines and the menu working correctly.

Will be waiting for the plugin update to keep the sub menu remaining closed when we give the parent menu as Link
