How to hide the calendar for the particular user role

Hi,

I have a usecase that only for the admin role, the calendar needs to be displayed and for another role it should not get displayed. I tried with wordpress function like current_user_can(‘administrator’) but its not getting any effect on the page. Could you please help me out in this issue?.
