How to hide tabs for specific user profile form

It is possible to show/hide profile menu items for specific user roles.
Please go to the Ultimate member -> settings -> Appearance -> Profile menu and select “Who can see e.g About Tab? – Specific roles”.

My particular issue is that we have two member roles (Customer / vendor), and we only want to show the about/review tab on the vendor profile form; and hide it for the customer form. But these settings appear to apply for all profile forms, no matter which role they are assigned to.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible in the current version of the plugin, however, thanks for letting us know, we will see if we can add this option in the future plugin updates.

Okay, sounds good. And is there any way to just show a member their messages? If not on their profile page, is there a way to add a messages tab to their account page?

Our goal is to only show customers their messages (between vendors). But, as it is now, they can only view messages on their profile and they see their about area and reviews tab (Which doesn’t relate to them).

We just want them to be able to see messages. Is there no other method for just displaying messages to one use role?
