How to hide restricted posts from WP_Query (or something like it), need help….

I created a Post, selected a single Role which can view it, but if I am on my website and view a list of posts while signed in under a Role that does *not* have permission to view this post… it still appears. I’m using WP_Query to display this list of posts. Can anyone offer a solution? Thanks!
