How to hide posts?

    I don’t have a category.php file in my default theme folder. Why is it missing?

    Hi Ruriko,
    Not all themes come with a category page template, often people don’t need them. You can easily create your own though , just be sure to name the template based on the category number it will be used for. For example a unique template for category number 3 would be called “category-3.php”.

    I replaced the_content to the_excerpt it hides the video but it didn’t hide the “Online Videos by Veoh.com” . Here’s my layout https://ruriko.kwix.info/wordpress/?cat=3 . Why didn’t it hide that part?

    The website/blog you mentioned in your first post has none of them. They use only the title – no excerpt, no content on the cat template.
