    Hi all
When sharing a post on facebook, using a popular plug-in such as Hupso Share Buttons I just want to see the title, the thumbnail and a few text lines, instead of the meta of the post (author, posted on…) and the title shown twice…

    any suggestion?

In case I didn’t explain me so well, you could see what i mean just clicking on the fb-share button, at the bottom of this post

You should put Open Graph meta tags on your pages, in order to tell Facebook what content to display when somebody shares your posts. For example, if you have an og:description tag, then the content of this tag will be used by Facebook when a post is shared. If you do not have meta tags, then Facebook has to make guesses about what your title and description are.

Many SEO plugins, like WordPress SEO by Yoast, will automatically generate these meta tags for your posts. If you use such a plugin, then you should note that Facebook will not immediately see the new meta tags. However, you can force Facebook to see the meta tags immediately by using the debug tool.
