How to hide or remove author name from posts?

To do that, go to Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS and enter the following code:

ul li.meta-author {
    display: none;
}

Go to Customize > Blog > Blog Entry – find Meta option and click on the eye icon of the author elements.
Repeat it for the single post page – Customize > Blog > Single Posts
