How to hide or make mobile number optional in “Debit or Credit Card” form

    Hi. My client feels requiring a mobile number from customers will deter some of them from buying online. I can’t seem to find any way to make the mobile phone number field optional or to hide it altogether.

    In PayPal Checkout settings, “Require Phone Number” is unchecked. My client says that the “Contact Telephone Number” setting in her PayPal account’s Selling online > Website preferences is set to off. Changing it to “On (optional)” has no effect either.

    Am I overlooking an option that hides the Mobile field or at least makes it optional for customers?
