How to hide from the main category page only?

    I’m working a website for a client and I need to be able to hide certain categories from the archive page only? I don’t seem to able to do that so is there a workaround for this please? I don’t really want to change code inside the plugin folder because when it next gets updated it’s likely to be overwritten.

    If the toggles don’t achieve the desired effect, then it’s like your theme, a plugin, or a widget is doing something that my plugin didn’t anticipate. There are no hidden settings or “tricks” with my plugin.
