I have a forum where I use bbp style pack to reverse the topic order, so the most recent reply is on top. I also use paging, so the forum doesn’t become slow when there are a lot of replies in a topic.
Because the reverse topic order is on, the initial post for the topic is always on top of every page for the topic.

Is there a way to not do this, and have the first post simply appear at the bottom?
For old topics it can be confusing that you see this very old topic as the first thing you see when you open the page with the last replies.

I tried hiding them with some custom CSS, which works, but that also hides the first posts for new topics, which isn’t handy. ??

I’ve added a further option to the topic/reply order tab in the replies section to have this as the order.

That was quick. I just received the auto-update and it works as requested.
    Excellent job, thanks a lot!
