How to hide category url?

  • Hi,

    I made permalink structure like this: /%postname%/
    All works fine.

    But when I want to get into the specific category of posts, I can only get this style:

    domain.com/category/health or domain.com/category/wisdom

    I would like to have no plugins and have domain.com/health or domain.com/wisdom

    How can I do that? What do I need to add to functions.php? Thank you.
