How to hide an image in a blog post

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

Originally it was Adelle but I edited it a lot!

I was hoping there would be an option to insert an image but make it 100% opacity or something like that….

I’m not sure. I originally had it with wordpress.com but then I had someone help me move from .com to .org…. They did it. I don;t know where it came from.

You should never edit the theme itself. First you should create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.

I did use a custom css plugin.
I didn’t edit the theme directly.

I just want to post images some images that are not visible within blog posts. Not all images. Do you know how to do this?

Hi there, a simple way to do this would be to add a custom class to your image and then hide the image with CSS.

For example, add the class “hideimage” to the image either in text view or using the pop-up image editor, and then add this to your custom CSS:

.hideimage {
display: none;
}

I’m not sure whether Pinterest will pick up a hidden image but you could try it out.
