    Would you mind giving me a bit more information? Do you have a link to an example of what you would like to do? If it is entirely aesthetic then it might be possible just to hide it with CSS.

    Thanks for your reply. actually you know that the edit post screen in wordpress dashboard have the categories meta box. and i use categories for navigation, but sometimes i mistake choosing the parent category while i wanted to add the post to the child. it is not a big deal , but i thought what if i removed all the Parent categories or even a specific category form that meat box. So is there any way to do this.

    Ah, for that there’d be a way probably for a developer to hide it, but no easy way as far as I know. If you’d like to find a dev, you can feel free to post a job here https://jobs.wordpress.net/
