There’s not enough characters allowed in the topic box.

Is there a way to have articles published on a self-hosted www.remarpro.com site to be featured on the wordpress.com reader the exact same way when publishing on a wordpress.com site? When I used to publish on WP.com, people would find articles based on tags and be able to leave a like through the Jetpack like button.

Does having a paid Jetpack plan actually helps with this, or having the Jetpack plugin installed on the site help? Is there any way to achieve this? Is Jetpack considering implementing this in the future if not? This could considerably boost reach.

    Hi there,

To have your self-hosted www.remarpro.com site posts appear in the WordPress.com Reader, you need to have the Jetpack plugin installed. This will allow your posts to appear in the?Posts?search results in the Reader. Additionally, ensure your site has at least one subscriber/follower to start the crawling process.

With that said, there is one difference between self-hosted and WordPress.com sites. While all public WordPress.com sites appear in search results, only posts from self-hosted sites where the?Jetpack?plugin is installed and?has any Jetpack paid plan?(standalone plugins?or?the core Jetpack plugin)?will appear in the?Posts?search results in the Reader. Otherwise, your site will only appear in the?Sites?search results.

For more details on how the Reader works, you can check our?support page.

I hope this helps; please let us know if you have any doubts.

    Thank you!
