• HI, I searched throughout WordPress forum and also on google but can’t figure out how to make my individual Portfolio pages look like my other pages, say center layout, without the blog stuff on the right side.
I want pages of my portfolio to look like my “About” page

  • Hey,

Go to your Dashboard > Pages. Go to your respective page. On the right side section go to the Select Layout > Full Width Center and Update the Page.

Hi Sabina, Thank you for taking the time to answer. That works for the main portfolio page which I have already done BUT it does not give me this option for the individual portfolio/project pages. These are being treating like they’re a post instead of a regular page.

    Hey,

Go to your Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Flash Theme Options > Post Settings > Single Post Layout. Select 4th Layout. This should bring your desired result.

Hi Sabina, Thanks so much, this is quite helpful! Was looking all over trying to fix this. Now the problem is my individual blog pages lost the listing of blogs on the side, which I want. I wish Flash theme treated Portfolio/Project as a page instead of Blog, it’s really NOT a blog. Really appreciate your response. Overall very pleased with Flash Theme.

    Hey,

Do let us know if you have any further query regarding our theme. We will try to reach you soon.

    Good Day,
    Best Regards.

Oh. I am having the same issue and also wish that the portfolio/project was a page and not a blog post!
A “portfolio” gives the idea that those boxes will lead someone to a full portfolio and not just a blog post.
Then I could use the awesome site origin builder page to make a gallery of my work and have the portfolio section of my home page connect to individual gallery pages.
Maybe ThemeGrill will consider giving us that ability in any upgrades they may do.
I am trying some ideas for a work around and was checking this forum for info. I will post again if I come up with anything good.
I am new to using it, but Flash seems to be an awesome theme.

    Hey @aquariusrising68 ,

Thank you for your valuable suggestion we really appreciate it. We will have discussion with our team about this and if everyone come to an positive conclusion we will surely update in our next theme update. Thank you.

    Good Day,
    Best Regards.

    Thanks for the reply Sabina.
Hoping you do make that change for us.
I love the flash theme but have had to start searching for another theme for my personal website because that is basically it’s primary function: an online portfolio of my graphic design work.
It really is a great theme with the exception that you have no option to create a site origin page builder page linked to that section of the home page.
Best regards. Have a great day.

    Hi Sabina.

Having a similar problem. We want to feature different images on one page after clicking the portfolio image on homepage. But I see it goes to a blog page instead. We removed all blog widgets on right sidebar (so it doesn’t 2look” like a blog), but still not working. We need images on left column and descriptions for each image on the right. Help!

    thanks,

    Nat
