    hi

congrats for your plugin, looks awesome

i plan to use pixabay or pexels but one important question :

i dont want to have heavy images to bé uploaded it doesnt seems i Can chose image size (only minimum size) for pixabay for instance and full size image on pixabay are very heavy, around 500ko

    100ko would be my max

what do you recommend so that i Can get some pixabay (or other free bank image) with limites Wright (100ko max)

Given that standard featured image width on wordpress is around 1000/ 1200px

no need to have more as its displayed as 800px width

    thank you for your help!

    Hi, and thanks !

About the image weight, I don’t have any control over it.

It seems that pixabay only gives 4 sizes and there is no alternative between 1280×853 and 640×427. 640px is too small, it seems 1280px is a good compromise, I think.

Now about weight, if they are too heavy, I would suggest to use dedicated plugin for reducing image file sizes like “Imagify” or “EWWW Image Optimizer”. I have tested both and they work great in combination with my plugin (screenshot example with pixabay image from 273KB to 87KB).

    Regards.
