How to have a Glossary archive page?

  • Is it possible to get an archive page for glossary items?
    I tried to play around with the plugin code (just to test) and changed/added

    ‘rewrite’ => true,
    ‘has_archive’ => true,

    to class-glossary-admin.php.

    That actually did the trick, but obviously I don’t want to manage my own version of the plugin.

    So how would be a better way or how could I ask for a change or maybe: Is there a reason to not support archive pages in the first place?
