yes. I changed my header.php with

<title><?php wp_title(”); ?></title>

but it still seem to be showing me with ‘post name’ ‘site title’.

I tried changing thru yoast aswell but to no avail.

Titles do affect my SEO if im not mistaken.

just to zoom into my problem, I’m trying to change the title on my ‘browser tab’ into a fixed title on my homepage instead of having my recent posts title on the browser tab.

It seems one need to look into the codes.

Is there any cache plugin involved.

If you think u havent made much changes to the theme. I would suggest you to download a new theme and use it and redo the small changes if any.

I guess that will be the easiest solution without looking into the codes.

yes. I do use w3 total cache.

& I have deleted my theme, changed it to something else and uploaded a new hiero theme to my server thru FTP but the problem is still the same.

I tried deactivating all of my plugins aswell.

any idea what I should do next?

I’ve kept it in static mode for now
