• Hey.

I was about to localise my WP custom theme that I made using a rather simplistic mock-up theme – Capricorn. Sure, it didn’t have a lot of automatic functions, but I added and fixed most the things.

Anyway, as I downloaded my language .mo .po files, I noticed that this theme (Capricorn) does not have a .pot file or any file in the ‘languages’ folder. I checked the code and I noticed that stuff is written directly in php (<?php comments_popup_link('No Comments','1 Comment','% Comments');, <?php edit_post_link(' — (Edit this?)'); ?>, etc.) my question is, should I just go through those php files and translate individual words?
I should also mention that I plan on making the website in three different languages (switchable on user-end) so what is the best option to go about?
I understand I can create my own pot file for the capricorn theme, but I don’t know what it should include and how to make it work?

Please help me out guys.
