Our developer uses your plugin to display FB (and Twitter, Instagram, etc.) on WordPress sites for our various clients. We manage our clients’ Facebook accounts using FB Business Manager, not separate individual logins. When we logged into WordPress and granted the plugin permissions for the first client website/FB account, we ONLY granted permissions for that single business’ FB page – not for all of our other clients’ FB pages. Now we need to use the plugin on a different client website but when we go to link to gain the FB token, it links only to that original business’ FB page – not the correct business for this website. How do I authorize additional FB Page accounts at this point? We’ll need to add more clients in the future, as well. Thanks!

    Hi @brohoward,

If you’re using the same user account but have only allowed the plugin to access content for a single Facebook page then you’d need to remove the app from your Facebook account and then reauthorize it using the plugin. You can do this by going to your Facebook account > Settings > Business integrations, and then selecting the “SlickRemix” app. You’d need to remove it and then use the plugin login to authorize it again in WordPress.

Doing this will invalidate the token on the existing site you used it on, so you’d need to reauthorize it there too to get a new token. If you’re using the same Facebook account for every website then it’s not possible to choose single Facebook pages to authorize on each site, as that’s a limitation of Facebook apps. The permissions are granted on a per-user basis. I would advise just allowing the plugin to view all of the pages you manage. This doesn’t allow the plugin to manage or edit those pages, it simply allows the plugin to see a list of the pages and retrieve an Access Token for each.

Let me know whether that helps, or if you have any further questions at all.

    John
