This will require additional JavaScript code. This is not something we can do at this stage. It’s something we will add to our wishlist.

I did not want to modify the plugin code but I have been forced to do so.

Simply add the line :

card.focus();

on the ready event in the 2 files pp-handler.js and pp-handler.min.js

That’s working great.

If there’s a way of having these modifications after plugin upgrades I would appreciate.

I made a tiny add-on for this. Source code is available here: https://github.com/Arsenal21/stripe-payments-enhancements/tree/master/asp-focus-on-card-input. Feel free to modify it per your needs.

Download it here https://github.com/Arsenal21/stripe-payments-enhancements/releases/download/0.0.11/asp-focus-on-card-input.zip and install like a normal WP plugin. When active, it sets focus on card input if customer name and email are prefilled.

It will keep working even when Stripe Payments plugin is updated.
